  1. Yes I have a letter from them confirming they won't issue a CCJ. I have paid them by standing order, so I have proof that I have paid them... They are taking the :mad2: realy unfair! Hopefully the court will remove the CCJ once they have seen the letter & evidence I have sent them
  2. Yep - this is what they have said and I have sent this to the courts and the FO. They have just emailed me saying they will accept £150 settlement figure, but this is not through the Courts, I think they are taking me for a ride & as a result I have a CCJ registered now!! :mad2: Dear Miss Farrell, We cannot cancel a claim, however should you not make payment as agreed we will then apply for a full county court judgement. You currently do not have a full CCJ, as mentioned below the claim registered against you had had already been done. BY increasing your offer to £50 per month, we agreed that we would not apply for a full County Court Judgement If you can make a one off payment off £155.00 on your next pay day we will accept this as a full and final settlement, we will then get in touch with the courts and advise them that this matter has been resolved. This is a concession of £175.00 Kind Regards
  3. Thread Stats Views: 0 WW Factor Coming Soon... Share This Thread: Share .fb_share_no_count { DISPLAY: block !important} Hi OK so basically I have an ongoing dispute with TOWER CAPITAL LIMITED, I took a payday loan out with them some time ago & I defaulted on the payments. I asked if I can pay £20 per month (£250 outstanding balance) and they said that if I increased the payments to £50 per month they would not take any further action (meaning no register a CCJ against me!) So I set up a standing order thinking everything was OK with the payments, my first one came out 1st September ok and cleared, I then receive papers from the court about a CCJ being registered against me, I had filled in forms I had received from the Money Claim Online that they did, but they said I should fill these forms in and send back and then if I keep to my £50 they would not register a CCJ against me, and they have done. I am really angry about this, and they just don’t seem to be helping me, I have evidence that they have said this and confirmed to me many times that they will not register a CCJ. I feel tricked and deceived by them! I have put in a complaint with the Financial Ombudsman and also have sent a letter to Northampton Court with emails from TOWER CAPITAL attached. What else can I do to get this CCJ removed? I am desperately trying to clear debt and get back on straight and this has really set me back a lot! Thanks Vicky

  5. I am so angry!! Received a letter from NCO Europe “in house” solicitors today?? Slightly confused as I have made a payment arrangement with them, for each month, made my first payment last month and a payment is due to come out this month. Called them, and they were shut!! Also got an alert from Call Credit and noticed that they have now registered a default against me, how is this possible if I already had a payment arrangement in place with them. The debt is with Orange, and I am paying off over 3 months to be reconnected, and passed back to Orange, I feel they are taking me for a ride, why have they defaulted me if I was paying it back? Doesn’t make ANY sense!!!!
  6. Ok well I tried to transfer £200 back into my account for my car insurance, but this was just taken straight out by over 8 debit transactions. Called the bank again, card cancelled and fraud investifation opened, so hopefully will get my £400 back I am going have no money now, and I suppose to be booking out holiday this month - so angry
  7. Hi Today is payday – usually a great day, but not this day! I checked my bank balance this morning to notice there is £220 missing from my bank account, called my bank (Halifax) and informed them I have not made any payment by my card today, and they advised me to wait until tomorrow to see who they are to. I haven’t used my card to pay for anything today! Let alone 9am in the morning, this is also a new card, so pretty worried about who has the details. The advisor didn’t seem bothered that I had £220 taken from my account, which is money I could really do with, she advised she can’t cancel “pending” payments, even if fraudulent, I would have to make a claim, which I am fine with doing, but ho wlong will this process take? I have had this happen in the past with Halifax and they refunded me the amount instantly. Can anyone shed any light as to why they can’t cancel these unauthorized transactions? Thanks
  8. Hi I sold my 1986 Golf GTI CC (24 years old) on the 25th May 2010. The buyer came from London to come and view, didn’t test drive the car, just looked around and asked if it started and ran OK, which it did. He emailed the day after saying it had cut out on his way home. The car was “sold as seen and tested” I hadn’t heard from him since, but on the 26th June 2010 he emailed to say that he has fixed a cutting out problem at a cost of £245 and that he had rights as my advert was not “as described” At the time of selling the car did run perfectly with no cutting out, so it was not misleading in any way and a perfect representation of how the car was working for us at time of sale. He has also text me on my phone today to say that I have until Friday 2nd July to respond or he will start court proceedings. Are you able to advise me on what to do next? Thanks
  9. Hi Ok, a little help please. I sold my golf a while ago, nearly a month now, after getting it fixed and running fine, as I didn’t want to sell it whilst not working. The guy came from London to come and view, didn’t test drive the car, just looked around and asked if it started and ran OK, which it did, we had driven it for miles the day before! He emailed the day after saying it had cut out on his way home. The car was “sold as seen and tested” but he never actually tested it, which I found strange, anyone who buys a car test drives it don’t they? Well anyway we fixed it and spent over £200 sorting it out and it was working to the best of our knowledge when we sold it. I hadn’t heard from him for a month until today he said he has fixed the problem at £245 and if I don’t get back to him he says that he will take me to court?! Arrghhhhh I am getting so !!!!ed off with all this! Surely does he have a leg to stand on after a month?! Help! Vicky x

  14. Hi I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good car finance lender for people with bad credit? There are a lot of dodgy looking sites out there and would just like a heads up. Thanks Vicky x x
