  3. Thanks CitizenB, hopefully it gets me somewhere lol
  4. Hi Guys, I have just had the CAG email newsletter through and found this experian thread interesting, i believe i have been with them since 2011 however cant access my account info previous to 1 yr on their website in my account details and my bank online can only take me back to 8/2012. I have been paying £14.99 a month since the start and have sent them this email today.... To whom it may concern, I have recently been looking into my finances and taking advice from a financial adviser and i have been alerted to an issue i have with my account. At present i can only find details of payments to yourselves of £14.99 per month by card payment on a monthly basis since August 2012, however I'm pretty sure that i joined back in 2011. If you could confirm when i joined that would help me a lot. In the mean time i would like to raise the concern that in all the months i have been with credit expert not once was i given the opportunity to decline payment for insurance with my monthly payment. I am led to believe that the payment for insurance is included in the monthly payment of £14.99 and it equates to £6.40 per month. I am most certainly not happy about this as i actually didn't even know that there was an option for a cheaper package a month at £9.99 which doesn't include insurance. To that effect i would like to apply for a full refund of the £6.40 and 8% interest per month that i have been paying without the need to, this amount up to August 2012 totals £165.88 and obviously upon confirmation as to when my account was opened i would like to pursue the months in addition that i cant see on my account details online. I shall be sending a complaint letter to the FOS outlining my claim, along with a copy of this email to yourselves. I look forward to your reply, Kind regards Do you think this is ok? TIA Kat
  5. Right ok, is there some way i can word a letter saying about how ive put up witht the central heating not working and would hope she can be sympathetic to me moving out before this date?
  6. in fact thinking about it was before her husband got back from deployment which will mean i told her in november but i cant remember the date
  7. I told her in january that i had somewhere i can move into and that it would be at the end of feb, The signed tenancy was from 9th march 09 to 9th sept 09 as it was for 6 months, but after reading the contract it has no notice period in it at all.
  8. I was wondering if anyone can help me...ive been renting a house off my friend who has subsequently got herself in financial bother. Just before xmas she advised me that her and her husband were going to be selling the house, much to my surprise! i looked for somewhere else and consequently told her verbally i would be moving out at the end of february. She is now claiming that she doesnt remember me saying this and that she had told me i had to stay here til april 1st, i disagreed and now she is saying she wants 28 days notice written from me dated the second time i told her i would be out by end of feb which was 6th feb, this will mean that i am going to either lose my other house or have to pay rent for 2 house for 2 weeks. My contract (which was just an old tenancy agreement from a house i had before with a new front page added!) ran out in september last year and doesnt state any notice period at all. I pay my rent fortnightly would this mean i can give 2 weeks notice? For the duration of my tenancy she has been in breach of contract by not having the central heating fixed and leaving me to rely on a gas fire heating the whole house with a six year old daughter living with me? Please help!
