  3. I have just received past statements. How on earth do you work out what they owe? I have multiple charges of £25 ,£20 referral charges ,card misuse £20 ,unpaid items £30 , and numerous charges ranging from £3.01 to £15.44 .For some reason I cannt download spreadsheet. Can anyone out there please tell me how to calculate moey owed? Thank you all for your help and good luck with your own quest.
  4. I made a few errors initially, but now on my way. the RBOS have twice offered £80 which I refused , but I still havent received details of charges...12 days to go. I shall then be looking for advice on how to work out how much they owe me!!!!!! I cant emphasise how much how helpul everyone has been.(apart from the bank) good luck everyone
  5. hi everyone, as I said the other day, I got carried away initially and did not formally ask for details of charges levied to my acc. but merely asked them to return anything they owed me. They offered me £80 which I refused. I am now starting from scratch with the Data Protection letter. The more I use this site the clearer everything becomes., and thanks to the help and advice of forum members, my confidence in actually fighting for my charges is increasing at every step. good luck and thanks to all
  6. hello all, I think I slipped up . I sent the letter asking for my charges to be returned to me without formally asking for details through the Data Protection Act. I have now done this. Guess i will just heve to wait another 40 days. Twice the bank has offered me £80 as a gesture of goodwill and said they considered this to be the end of the matter. As you advised I did not accept the offer. Do you think they will forward a history of my charges? Good luck to everyone, and thanks for the help and advice Ronnie
  7. really appreciate advice . going for it! cheers
  8. Hello all . sent off my first letter to royal bank three weeks ago . still havent received summary of charges .did however refuse goodwill gesture of £80 . they said it would take two weeks for detailed summary . how long should I wait , and how do I know how much to claim for if I have no statement? Wonderful site and good luck to all.
