  1. very odd thing happened this morning. I sent the above and received a letter today to say thatnks for my offer to pay £1.00 per month this was acceptable!!!!! Confused to say the least
  2. No I have sent them 4 letters now in total askign for a CCA as well as a full breakdown of the account.
  3. Hi All I just recieved a letter this moring from Blair Oliver Scott on behalf of Bank of Scotland. They say that there are being instructed to start court proceedings. I have sent numerous CCA requests and letters asking for a breakdown of the debt. I want to respond today if possible can anyone advise as to what I can do now Thanks
  4. Well its all gone a bit quiet with BOS. Not sure if this is a good or bad thing. Has anyone had a similar experience
  5. I will try to keep this simple. I have had a First Trust Bank option 2 cc for 7 years and its always been in good standing. My limit was £2100. However I was pleased when I made a purchase and it went through despite it putting me over my credit limit. On the same day I went into my local branch toexplain this and make an immediate payment only to be told that in fact my limit had been increased and a letter would be on its way. Brilliant so I treated myself to a few other things and indeed my card allowed me to spend to the tune of £400. Anyway 10 days later I recieved a letter to say that I was over my limit by £400. I again apoke to the same branch and was told this was a mistake the card would not allow this. I then got another letter from the collections dept so I called them and all they could tell me was that infact my card would allow me to go over my limit by a certain % but they couldnt tell me what that was or indeed where it was in my t&c's ( Ihave checked and its not there) I paid my 3% minimum on the total amount but they have now demanded the full overlimit amount and have entered negative feedback on my credit file. I have lodged a complaint but its going to take ages to sort and I refuse to loose £400 of my money due to their incompetency Any suggestions
  6. in total just under three months. Minimal complaining from them they just said they couldnt find the paperwork so couldnt prove me wrong and had no other option but to pay up inc interest
  7. Hi all just got notification that my PPI claim form Lloyds TSB for my duo airmiles card was successful to the tune of £336.40 . Not bad as I have only had it a couple of years. Nice surprise before chrstmas:)
  8. How long has it been since you stopped payments and have they stopped calling you?
  9. Just a quick note to say I was in the same position as you and CCA'd them. They couldnt produce the CCA and after about 6 months of letters going back and forth they sent me a letter to say that the agreement was unenforceable. Hoorah. Dont phone them, put it all in writing and stick yo your guns:)
  10. I EVENTUALLY got a letter back from BOS but only as a result of me withholding a payment from them. They are not saying that if I dont pay they will take further stepd to recover the debt oh and by the way they are still phoning me, sometimes from Bank of Scotland and sometimes from Blair Oliver Scott. I sent yet another letter yesterday enclosing my previous letters as well as stating that the debt is under dispute and as they cannot or willnot provide me with my CCA I am not obliged to pay them anything and am excersing my legal right to do so. Is there anything else I can do, all advice greatfully received:grin:
  11. just an update. STILL getting phonecalls at least once a day now from Bank of Scotland themselves even though they were told in writing only. Have spoken to OFCOM and they have put me in contact with the Information Commissioners Office to lodge a complaint. Also still no CCA or statements. Not at all surprised
  12. I have had the card two years and whilst I agree that if it was a fairly new card it may take a while to update it shows all the months before hand then goes to zero and says settled which implies the account is paid in full and its not
  13. Not sure if this has happened to anyone else but I have a CC with Vanquis Bank. It has a limit of £1000 and my balance is just under that. I did dispute earlier in 2009 some charges that had appeared due to the stupid timing of them taking a DD for payment then adding interest and PPI. Anyway got some of that refunded which was fine. I have however been looking at my Equifax report as at todays date and its showing the full account paid off and SETTLED with a Zero balance. What would happen if I didnt pay them anything else.
  14. GOod morning. Dispite all letters etc I am still recieving phonecalls. How do I go about complaining further
