  1. nohope, Your posts are somewhat confusing ! Are you a tenant yourself, landlord or owner of the building, flats, house or what ever it is ? Theses two people you want to disconnect, are they tenants if yes who their landlord, are they friends of yours, lodgers or something else ? Why are these 2 connected to your meter in the 1st place and how long ago was this done ?
  2. Virgin Media are well known for using India call centres, so are a few other ISPs Which broadband companies have UK based customer support? WWW.CHOOSE.CO.UK Many UK broadband providers offer customer service direct from UK call centres. Find out which ISPs offer UK-based customer service and which...
  3. For a energy supplier to go as far as getting a warrant and fit a pre-payment meter is the Last resort. They would have been trying to contact you for a while now via letters, texts, Emails. Have you got photo's of this so-called damage as evidence to show us.
  4. Go and show All the paper work to a solictor then and seek their advice, think its becoming pointless anyone from CAG advising you anymore !
  5. From another forum Problems with tenant getting work done and not paying me rent - LandlordZONE Forums TINYURL.COM I have rented my house to a {name removed} who use it to house Asylum seekers from a govt contract. In June the flat roof developed a leak and...
  6. In the agreement you have with Mears Limited, who does it say the rent should be paid to You axil23 or Mears Limited ?
  7. Not by you. You're not the landlord if the agreement says tenants must pay rent to "Mears Limited" Your dispute would be with "Mears Limited"
  8. axil23 From what you posted so far Your dispute is with "Mears Limited" and not the tenants. If the tenants are paying rent direct to "Mears Limited" under the agreement, they would be the landlords and have to serve s8 grounds 8 and 10. Think if you serve s8, case would just get thrown out of court Sounds like only a solicitor is going to be able to sort this for you...
  9. Don't know if this has been covered before, but Amazon are to ban the use of Visa credit cards next year. They are blaming the Brexit linked interchange fee increase for online credit card payments jumped to 1.5 % up five times from the previous 0.3 %, what pee's me off is Amazon could early afford to shoulder these costs, given the billions of pounds sales they make just in the UK. You still be able to use Visa debit, MasterCard and Amex Amazon faces losing up to £1.4 billion from UK shoppers over Visa ban WWW.INDEPENDENT.CO.UK The Visa credit payment ban was announced in November, with Amazon citing ‘the high fees Visa charges for processing credit card...
  10. Building insurance is down to the HA and not tenants. Are you sure the shed was built by HA or maybe previous tenants built it, if there were any before you. What does it say in your tenancy agreement about repairs, the shed ?
  11. From a tenant's point of view and one for courts to decide on regarding the costs.
  12. When you sought legal advice. Did you ask the Solicitor about court costs, solicitor costs, who has to pay what and so on ? I Don't think you have any chance of getting your £6000 off them, unless a court order's managing agent to pay costs.
