  1. Hi all, I put my claim in months before the test case started. So at that time, the banks were a little confused and were refunding monies by the minute. Now that there is a test case, once this has been heard then all that have put a claim in, their case will be assessed. I have been told that it will be some time until you will hear about your claim.
  2. I just need to know where I stand. I had a 3 g contract with 3 network, i have so mucht trouble with them that I cancelled the contract just after the cancellation date. They sent me a final bill, which, after a huge battle to lower the amount from £483, to £203 I succeeded. I am ready to pay the final amount in installments. I had a called from a solicitor acting on behalf of 3 G who informed me that I cannot pay this amount in installments and that they require the full amount by card now. They said that if I do not pay this amount, they will send it to court and get an attachment of earnings or issue a bailiff warrant for the amount. I just need to know what to do. By the way, I have not received any letters from them, only telephone calls, as they have my old address on my system, as they confirmed this over the telephone
  3. I complained with all the letters to my bank regarding the bank charges applied to my account. They had charged me a total of £800. The bank offered me £200. I accepted this, but then a few months later, they charged me £35.00, I blew steam. So I sent my letters yet again, requesting that they refund the £600 plus £35.00 of bank charges applied to my account. I thought by accepted £200, they wouldnt do anything stupid, but when they decided to put on another charge, I asked for the remainder of my charges to be paid back.........and guess what happened.......they paid the full whack and sent a sorry letter. In total I was £835.00 in pocket....did the same to Woolwich, and received a further £1900. Thanks for the letters, it sure came in handy.
  4. I have been having a battle with the Woolwich Bank. They charged me, altogether £1,900 in charges over 3 years. I sent all the letters to them, they came back offering me £600, including the £294 that was on my credit Scoring sheet as a "default", complained to the OFT, requested I get a full refund and that the Default be wiped off clean. HURRAY!!!! All was done and I received a full refund by cheque. The whole process took around 9 Months.
