  1. My friend has had a letter from the BOS regarding his claim saying that they reckon they are only owe him £454.54 and are saying that they are not paying the remainder of his £800 odds claim. The £545.54 has already been paid in to his account. Where do we go from here?? Cheers
  2. I have been helping a friend of mine to reclaim his charges. After sending the prelim and LBA, I had prepared his Summons for the 29th Jan. but he never made it to the court to lodge it. So do we have to start again with the prelim etc.... or do we just carry on. The earliest we will be able to take it there will be around the 22nd Feb. as we work away from home???? Would appreciate your help on this one Cheers
  3. Hi everyone, Your help would be appreciated. I am assisting my daughter with her claim, the court return date is 23 August. The total amount to be claimed back is £1200 +, if she is awarded by the court that would be for £750 + fees+ intrest(hopefully). To claim the remainder of the £1200 +, at what part of the process do we re-start at? I can't seem to find anything in the FAQ's. Do we just go straight to summons again?
  4. All the best Spicey, thanks for all your help.
  5. Hi, BOS offered £181.00 as a good will gesture, but not for me. I want it all. LBA sent 20th June still no reply as yet, summons goes in on Monday 3rd july. Raymo
  6. Do I send the letter (Prelim) to the Bank that the account is in or to the Head Office?? (the original letter was sent to the local branch), then do I wait the 14 days and if no action follow up with LBA? Just want to get it right first time so at least it looks like we know what we are doing.
  7. Its me again! Do I send the letter (Prelim) to the Bank that the account is in or to the Head Office?? (the original letter was sent to the local branch), then do I wait the 14 days and if no action follow up with LBA? 8. Hi Scotia, Can you tell us (I am helping my daughter get her money back) if the bank has waved the charge for 6 years of back statements as a good will gesture although it has not sent back the £10 cheque included, but says that the costs of providing the information regarding the manual interventions is disproportionate to the effort? Help. Can we claim for the 6 years or must it only be for 5? The total is in the region of £1200 can we as one of the other site users has done and asked for it all back in one go rather than wasting the bank and the courts precious time???? When we make our claim should the grand total be no more than the £750 or £750 + 8% + court fees??? Sorry to go on so much about this but I work away from home which makes it a little difficult to keep things moving? Any other usfull pointers would be appreciated. Thanks in advance Ray Duffy
