  1. Shocking to know. Is there a map of the UK during this investigation showing the demographics of where in the country the shortfalls were?
  2. Thank you HB for your info. The lost cash trails need to be scrutinised now and the truth told.
  3. Did the money amount shown as shortfalls end up anywhere to enrich any of the companies involved or not?
  4. In the drama I saw a pile of docs heavily redacted I wonder if that info will be revealed in the inquiry. There was a situation told of an Inspector coming into the premises sitting at the end of the bed of a PO Manager how shocking what power allows that. For the PO to say from the beginning to individual PO's they were the only one and there were no other reports of a loss problem. That is fundamental to know what was being ignored or covered up from the start all those years ago and not true to say that. Workers at Horizon with access in real time being capable to alter PO's accounts. Is Fujitsu joining the enquiry?
  5. I hope we are entering a new era of political change going forward in the future. The scandalous waste of tax payers money is more transparent to see and more injustice is being challenged and gaining a momentum with exposure from all the media spectrum. The cycle of an average of ten years more or less for a particular party is not enough to work out the solutions to sort out the problems of the country. The wheels to improve move too slowly to see the rewards then another party come along and so the cycle continues.
  6. Wishing you all a Happy, healthy and prosperous year ahead
  7. To me it all seems to be about the definition of what the word 'rules' means. What happens when the 'rules' are broken? Rules can be an ambiguous analogy for those who choose to bend them. Rules and laws are important because they help to obtain and continue a balanced level of safety, fairness, order and justice. Rules help us learn and prepare for living in a wider society. If the rules were blurred for the Gov gatherings the phrase common sense comes to mind for those who participated. There were others who didn't attend because they had common sense of the rules. My thought on this case one rule for one and one rule for another.
  8. Sad to know Pele has died. A fashion legend and a football legend.
  9. I’ll find out what paperwork has been kept. Thinking of how these companies carry on, would you receive notification of any court proceedings whereby you’d receive paperwork to defend or is there a clandestine way private parking notices are dealt with. I hope that’s not the case.
  10. Thanks DX that's prompted me to have a read of this after looking up POFA2012 https://www.britishparking.co.uk/write/Documents/AOS/AOS_CoP_June_2013_update.pdf
  11. The initial appeal was sent to Civil E back in Feb when the notice first received. Not to DCBL. I'm helping a friend as where the situation is now.
  12. Appeal sent to Civil Enforcement the ANPR parking company. Was rejected. There was no offer of opportunity to pay for the extra half hour. Friend parking in a leisure centre went over the three hour free parking and was inside the venue all the time. Was not aware of three hour restriction on free parking as was always free to venue users in the past, no restriction if using the facilities.
