  1. Thanks for the info. Is the 14% £30 per week. She has a 2nd bedroom as she has her child staying at weekends. Its disgusting the way people with mental health are treat. The housing asso has been on her back and shes afraid she could be evicted if it takes 6 weeks for any money and then she'll owe 2 weeks rent on top which I really do not know how shes going to pay.
  2. A friend of mine who is 27 yrs old had a 4 bed housing asso property in one part of town but had to change over to a newer part of town and a smaller property which is 2 bed with same housing asso. Now shes had to sort the housing benefit out for it and was told it was straight forward her being a tenant anyway. She went to sort out the housing benefit today and has been told she has to make a new claim for it which has a 4 week deadline and that she now needs to apply for Universal Credit even though shes on JSA. They are saying she has to apply for UC now which will take 6 weeks and that she'll be without anything till its sorted but she'd also run past the 4 wk deadline and would owe 2 weeks full rent. She has really bad depression and mental illness ... hence how she was given sick notes from her doctor as shes unable to work. Now the housing asso has also told her she will receive £60 per week on UC but from that she is responsible for paying the HA £30 per week as they are saying she won't be entitled to full housing benefit her only being 27 yr old.
  3. Not sure if this is the correct forum to post this I had an iPhone that I reset as was given it to a friend but stupidly I lost it in a club. Now it was either took from my bag or just lost. I contacted the phone company and asked them to block the phone for me as there is no way I can find its location and doubtful I'd get it back. I gave them the IMEI but they said they have it. I have 2 phones on the account that used the same number as when I reset to give my iPhone to a friend in desperate need I put my sim in another phone. I noticed on my phone provider account that my 2nd phone (one I'm using now) was due to be blocked I contacted live chat and explained I think they are due to lock the wrong phone to which he said I will take that off right away. I then gave them the IMEI number for my lost iPhone and they said that it will be blocked.. .But I'm doubting anything has been done as both people I spoke to seemed to not know what they were doing. First one stated 72 hrs to block handset then 2nd one said 7 hrs. I really want to block the handset so whoever has it can't use it.. Advice appreciated.
  4. Its not so much about the money its the fact they lied and said he drives a car and that he can get on public transport without any problem and a few other things on form. Only thing is would it be worth appealing as he may lose the lot doing it.
  5. Please can someone explain this to me. I have had a decision on my pip after my assessment and they have awarded me but its over £100 less than my original dla payments. We will pay you on 18 January 2018. This money that we owe you from the 27 December 2017 to 17 January 2018. Does this mean I now won't receive my dla payment I was due on 18 December 2017 Also and I know we shouldn't of done it but we recorded the assessment. They've lied in the letter saying he drives when he doesn't know how to and never has drove a car which I have on tape them asking and him telling them he never has driven. and a few other things so they've lowered his money by £130. Not sure if its worth appealing.
  6. when my partner had a problem paying during summer months they then made up new agreements to which he signed (hence different agreement no's now compared to originals) I'm just wondering if the person doing these new agreements when printing out seen we had two iPhones at £20 and thought that was for one not two.. .which then put us down as 3 phones when that is wrong. I'm wondering if they keep a copy of all receipts when signing a new agreement as that should give a date and who done it for this phantom phone. we spoke to them today but they are insisting an agreement was signed and has my partners signature on it. its how can I prove we only have two and not 3
  7. Hi, My partner purchased two iPhone 4s last year at same time. the man in shop put them both on same agreement at £20 per week. we have a few other things also and have never really had a problem until now. In the summer months (can't remember which month but it may of been July.) my partner had a problem not being able to pay full amount so was told to go in on the Sat morning and they'd sort the agreements out so we didn't have to get into arrears. he did and signed new agreements. it was only last week I happened to check the receipts and noticed we've been paying for a 3rd iPhone which we've never had. He went in today and said they'll go through the agreements when they had time and he was going to ring them at 5pm today. they said they've looked at agreements and he did sign an agreement along with others. they said it was July we purchased it. this is not true but they have an agreement he has signed. We can honestly say we have only two iPhones along with other things. I have a receipt from end May showing this 3rd one wasn't on there. I just don't know how to sort this out as we know for a fact we've purchased nothing since may and that was a playstation.
  8. Thanks for the replies. it beggars belief how nasty they got on phone and threatening for this £16 I do not owe. Thanks will do both suggestions. has put my mind at ease so thanks again.
  9. Hi, Please can someone advise me as this debt company is ringing me 3 to 5 times per day as well as sending me threatening letters. I owed ebay £62 my account was suspended until I payed it but in meantime I received letter from this IQOR saying I owed £78 and demanded payment in full. I told them I couldn't pay straight away so asked when I would and that I had to ring them up and pay over phone. I decided to check my ebay account and noticed it had £62 and allowed me to pay ebay direct which I did. I have had this company on my back today 3 times saying I have to pay them the £16 I owe which I said I don't see why I had to pay them anything and had already settled my fees which ebay accepted. I have now been told by IQOR that they will be pursuing me for the £16. Please help can they do this and will I have to pay them as I'm now getting really scared I'm going to end up paying them even more if I'm took to court.
  10. Firstly i hope i'm posting in the correct board if not i do apologize. I have gone back on 5 years worth of statements through my online banking with LloydsTSB but only the past 4 years is when my partner started getting charged with excessive bank charges. Would it be possible to print these out from 4 yrs and then be able to send them or do i still have to send the £10 fee for the statements. Also i need advice on Welcome Finance of which he had a loan from them in the year 2002 for £500 which he pays back at £7 a month, is there anything he could do about that as it seems to be going on and on. He asked the company if they could send him a statement sort of thing regarding all his payments he has made as well as the opening balance he owed them and all the charges they charged him including how much he owes now. all they sent was a list of payments he'd made but we don't even know how much he owes as they keep making excuses like..well you do only pay £7 a month so it will take years to pay off. Thanks in advance for all the help
  11. I have a thread running on the LloydsTSB forum but need some advice also on Welcome Finance board When i try to start a new thread off on wf board i'm unable to do so. could i ask why please
  12. Could i just ask a question please If your still over the overdraft limit and are having to pay so much a week into the account as arranged. would we still be able to claim these overdraft excess fees back or do you have to have a clear bank account in order to do so
