  1. Had a letter from them today after I had sent them an offer of payment, with £20 cheque from joint account)and letter from my doctor confirming I was disabled permanently. They have kept the cheque, cashed it, and the doctor's letter but are refusing to deal with me until I physically sign a letter to them. Any one got any ideas why?
  2. Had a loan with first plus ( sizeable to consolidate some debt etc.) When it came to settle after having the loan for nearly three years ended paying 13 grand more than I had orginally borrowed. Anyone know if this is legal/ethical/unfair? My partner had a loan with cahoot. They informed her they were stopping loans, raised the interest rate from 8.9% to 14.9. When she complained they said it was basically tough. They suggested Abbey as thei mother company who turned her down. Again. Any one know if this is legal?
