Thank you. I have just submitted my claim and noticed something. Ill put the relevant flight numbers down When we were supposed to fly back from Rhodes, we were flight number LS820. The next day we flew out as LS4820 (They added a 4) I have just checked the flights from Rhodes the night we were supposed to fly home and the same again, LS820 was "Cancelled" but flight LS4820 (which was the same actual plane as I did check) flew out. Does this make any difference? Thanks again -

Thanks for the exact and concise reply; much appreciated. The flight return landed at 01:30 so we were not more than 3 hours late on arrival. Again, many thanks and sorry it took a while to reply. I will file the claim and then advise how we go ;) -

I have this morning returned from Rhodes following 11 days holiday. We were due to fly home from Rhodes on Wednesday @23:55 but we were allowed to get to the airport and when we got there, we received a text message that said Your flight has been delayed due to unforeseen operational issues. The flight in fact was not delayed, we were just denied boarding. They boarded another group of passengers who had had their flight cancelled. The flight took off and landed as advised on their website. We was put up in a hotel and then we tried again the next day where our flight was due to leave at 23:15 and we took off at 01:45 As our flight was not cancelled, they just chose to fly a different set of passengers, are we entitle to compensation under EU261

Isiris replied to Isiris's topic in Private Land Parking Enforcement
Sorry I made a full DSAR asking Subject Access Request Please take this contact form as my only option to submit a Subject Access Request with you in regards all data you have regarding me. Not withstanding All emails/Contact US forms I have submitted in the past. Any letters or emails sent to you by me or vice versa All communications with Highview Parking Limited in regards to this PCN I remind you you have 30 days to supply such information Its regarding a Court Summons for parking on Private Land and they are the solicitors -
DCB Legal also hold a copy of the Letter of Claim issued in July 2021. Furthermore, DCB Legal hold copies of physical and e-mail correspondence on file between yourself and DCB Legal, which you will already have copies of being the sender/recipient. Thats it So they have told me what they claim to have but not sent it me. I want to see exactly what they have on their system, not for them to tell me what the topics are? TIA

There is no defence. The balance is on the account as stated. The issue revolves around Source Of Funds. You will have to trust me on this part but I work in gaming in a Senior Roll of a larger competitor. They do not need source of funds as I am winning £15k from them. I refused to send them a copy of my contract which they asked for to support my spending. This isnt applicable as my first deposit was £100 and I am infront with them ever since. If they did defend, I would apply for a summary judgement as like I said, there is no defence.

No, my balance was just over £10k so to keep it in small claims i claimed for £9000 and said I would keep the other £1000 in my account for when it was reopened. I knew that they would close the account anyway What are your thoughts on the confidentiality element?

Evening BF As of yet they haven't filed a defence as commented that they haven't even acknowledged the claim In regards the claim, as I have made an offer of a fee for confidentiality, can I share it in advance?

Just looking and hoping someone could dot the "i"s and cross the "T"s for me on something I raised a claim against someone for £9k They have been in touch via their solicitor with the usual we don't admit liability etc etc but will settle for the amount. I agreed and they said they would send over a Settlement Agreement Now they have BUT they want me to file a notice of discontinuance BEFORE they pay me PLUS they want a confidentiality agreement. I have said I want payment before I file the NOD but I have also said if you want confidentiality then there will be a £1500 premium for this as if this went to the local press, it would affect them massively. That wasn't my intention by the way but we move in similar circles so I don't want to be under the threat of litigation without some reward Just to add, I can also file for summary judgment as they are way past acknowledge ment and was unsure as to whether to do this to strengthen my position but didn't want to look harsh if it did go to court and they claimed I did this out of spite while negotiating.

VAT on HCEO fees.
Isiris replied to Peterbard's topic in Bailiffs and Enforcement Industry - General discussions
Hi i have just had a heated conversation with a HCEO company. I asked them for a VAT receipt for the Compliance element of the debt (£15). They said, we dont have to provide one as it would be offering you a discount. I did lose the plot and ask to speak to the one who had the brain cell for the day which didnt help but Article 13 of the VAT Regulations 1995 (SI 1995/2518) a VAT registered business is required to supply a proper VAT invoice when requested to do so by a VAT registered customer. So am I entitle to ask for the receipt? Thanks please reply to my thread here:
