  1. Hi... I can't remember it was back in year 09/10. I'm currently using ClearScore to check my Credit score and I can't see any mention of the history of this card on there.
  2. Thanks Old Cogger... Sorry I'm not understanding you ????? Which entry? In a true correct occurrence???
  3. Okay thanks... Why won't it improve my score?
  4. My credit file does not show my current address No credit taken out at my current address I'm on the electoral role for my current address... and I was thinking of correcting my credit file to improve the points. Thank you for answering
  5. Okay... I'm just concerned that they have my old address and if they decide to take me to court I won't even know about it.
  6. Thank you for responding so quickly... I've started a new thread with more information
  7. My situation is my last and only statement I hold regarding this account is 16/10 2009... Since then it has bounced around various places (sold on)... Bramber Debt Recovery 6/4/14 offered 40% discount Marlin wrote 5/8/2014 saying passed on to Ruthbridge I wrote to Credit Security Ltd 23/6/11 explaining I was on JSA and had my house repossessed in 2010 so no belongings. Last week I rang M&S and asked where this debt was... they said Cabot. I know I sent a £1 payment to some of my debt holders at some point over the last 6 years but I have only a few records of who and when. I don't have anymore records of dealing with M&S. I would be really grateful if someone could help me out ... I know there was a lot of late payment history on this account. What should be my next step?
  8. Can I claim late payment charges over 6 years ago if my old M & S card is now with a recovery agent (Cabot)? I haven't paid anything since 2010 due to ill/circumstances... However, I'm now in employment and I'm trying to clear up a mess I got myself in in 2010.
  9. By the way Gizmo do you know anything about their statement? Is it true? Over a dozen or so dismissed cases?
  10. I'm right at the beginning with my claim against Citi ... just received the "In over a dozen court cases involving Citi, we have successfully argued the fairness of the above policy and the fairness of the £12 charges. The cases have all resulted in the claims being dismissed and the courts have implicity held that the policy is fair and the charges reasonable, being in line with both the OFT guidance and common law principles of damage for breach of contract. I understand this is not the outcome you hoped for ... bla ... bla..." Can't wait to see the outcome of this thread ... especially their disclosure on 'true costs'. Ten out of Ten for tenacity to you all!
  11. Just received my statements with an apolegetic letter for the delay. I first requested them 22.1.07. I then tried the shortcut by ringing the infamous Gareth Tunnicliffe and Paul Miney. Would not put be me through ... saying my request must be put in writing. Address... F.A.O. Customer advocate Office MBNA Europe Bank Ltd PO Box 1004 Chester business Park Chester CH4 9WW Thought the address maybe useful as it's different to all the other MBNA contact address's on this site.
  12. Thanks Martin ... quick update - even though I should start a new thread... would just like to say that Sainsbury's card are also up to the stalling tricks. I read about the possibility of this happening on this site but it still amazes me how unprofessional and incompetent they come across. :o Even though I still have an active account with Sainsbury's ... last statement received a week before I sent SAR they're denying knowing the existence of my account????? What planet are these people on ... I would suggest to anyone blast them with every conceivable evidence (with SAR) to stop their stalling tactics!! 8-)
  13. Well I've got 14 different accounts I'm gunning for (various institutions)... and Creation (Richards store card) are the first to return with statements. Wow... I thought 10 out of 10 for being prompt. Until I started thumbing through and half of them are missing ... sporadic dates ... so a bit strange. Maybe a stalling game. I requested statements from 6 years ago up until when my account closed in Nov 2001. There are 3 statements missing from 2001 which I'm eligible to claim on ... plus the strange thing they've sent me my statements from 1999 and 2000? Should I also claim for any charges during this latter period?:-?
  14. I have a copy of 'The Student Loans Scheme 1993/1994'. It states under 'Terms of Loan' ... As long as you are not behind with your loan repayments, any amount remaining due under your loan agreement will be cancelled after 25 years or when you reach the age of 50, whichever is earlier.
  15. You mean cold , unemotional and inflexible.... They've taught me well!
