| | Basic Account Customer | Hello - my first posting Just joined the group and finding it all a bit daunting!! Not familiar with forums so taken me a bit of time to find my way around. I have sent my first letters to NatWest and the Woolwich. The Woolwich responded immediately and sent back my £10 cheque with a letter saying they are investigating my complaint and will respond by 17th April. Can you advise what I should do, wait for a response or demand they send my statements? Thanks. |

| | Site Team | Re: Hello - my first posting When you send a Data Protection Act SARs request plus the £10 fee, they have 40 days in which to comply with your request.
I assume from what you say that you've just sent the letters. If that is the case then you are still well inside the 40 days
Spend a few days reading the FAQs and the step by step guide in the library section. That will answer most of your initial questions.
Regards, Rooster.

Have fun taking on the banks, I am!
Don't be daunted, you have plenty of help here!
It's a long battle but you will win, Woolwich take everything as far as they can in the hope you will bottle it and cave in. Just stick to your timescales and get what they owe you |
