hi i started my court Action 2 weeks ago on 22 march 2007 the banks solicitors filed a defence my position is slightly diffrent as my account is closed, i think i will be in for a long haul, my account was with woolwich but barclays have taken my claim from woolwich, my total claim is for £1376 there are no costs to be added as i am on income support. any advive will be gladly recived as the next step is getting close, also i understand if you have an open account with woolwich they are likly to pay the money in to your account and then close it after you have taken the money out if i win i wounder how they will pay up just one other thing woolwich never offerd any settlment at all to me

"as my account is closed, i think i will be in for a long haul" I'm currently claiming for one open and one closed, not got court date yet. What makes you think closed accounts will be up for more of a fight from 'Woollays'? The law applies equally and to be honest, they're not going to be more congenial to present customers than former ones as they dislike them all equally imo!
