Hmm... Update.. The account in question is currently overdrawn by approx £500, which is solely charges and overdraft fees incurred since I stopped using it... The Woolwich have now referred it to Wescott..... And I've had a letter... Surely this is not right, if it's in dispute, and most certtainly if it's the subject of ongoing court proceedings??

	Are you letting your bank keep your money Are you giving away thousands of pounds?? Many people aren't claiming all of the money they are entitled to when they make their bank charges claims. You have been forced to pay unfair bank charges. Have you forgotten that your bank has charged you inteest on those charges? If you are overdrawn and the bank owes you charges - then your overdraft is made up of charges - money which you bank owes you. Yet you are paying interest to the bank - on your own money!!! Thanks Thailand - I take it I just need to provide both the court and the Woolwich with copies of everything I am going to take on the day... I presume I can also add the cost of postage and copying etc to the claim?

Sorry Mike, I haven't looked into the bundle stuff yet - I decided to do that when I get my court date. It doesn't say you need to forward anything though, I hope someone will clarify this for you. With regard to adding costs to your claim - thats a tricky one. It has been done but generally on the small claims track each party is to cover its own costs, try if you like (and be reasonable) the judge could only say no. But you won't get to court because Barclays will likely fold before then!

Just send one copy to the court, one copy to Barclays, and one copy for yourself. Then just sit back and wait for your letter or phone call to discus settlement. Good luck!

Oh, forgot to mention, I now have additional charges to add of circa £2000 - over £600 of which is since I began action! Can I ask to have these added? If so, at which stage - and how?

You can't add them on at this stage Mike. You'll need to start over with those I'm afraid. I don't think KJ is around these days - but if thats whose name is on your defence papers i'd use it.

think kj has been given time off on medicle grounds caused by stress relating to the amount of claims against woolwich/barclays/barclaycard !
