Default LIPS vs WOOLWICH X2

Hi all, What a great site this is and some very interesting claims.

Ive sent 2 Data Protection Act letters to the woolwich on the 7th of feb with £20 postal orders they sent the £20 back on 15th feb saying that they will deal with this case, 1 is for an account that is still open with over £1000 in charges.

The other account was closed in oct 2004 this was because of bank charges to my account which led to dds which couldn't be paid due to keep on clearing the charges so when a dd was due to come out it could not be paid then my account was passed over to a DCA so was my loan which im still paying £180 per month and also because of this GE CAPITAL who i paid finance to for a car i bought put theirs over to a DCA and im still paying them £100 per month, If i can claim from them 2 DCA i will do so.

Also debitas = £500 capital one
alliance leicester £300
Barclaycard £1000 already sent Data Protection Act on 7th feb
citicards £600

And many more

Hi all, Received letter today about my openplan account usual rubbish except at bottom of letter it says, If i do not hear from you within 8 weeks from the date of this letter i will close my complaint file in accordance with our usual practice. Phoned barclays, They said it was a misprint and shouldn't have been on the letter.

I guess they figure that a reasonable percentage of letter recipients aren't members of this site, there are bound to be plenty of people who are still scared off by the letters and drop their claim.

I am not sure on that one but i am sure someone will tell you.

But dont forget you dont add any interest until you go to court, so you just need to send off the next letter demanding payment otherwise you will take them to court and then ask for interest etc

So i would get the next letter in the post asap.
Then spend time researching the answer to your question as the bank will have 14 days to respond
