Default S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) not answerd,

Hi guys i sent a S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) request to woolwhich for my mortgage account, then 2 months on i send another letter stating they now have 14 days to which i got the reply that it may take upto 8 weeks for me to get the information, so isent them the letter stating that id take them to court to get them to make them send the information and register a complaint with the oft.

today i get a letter saying i may get a reply by the 22nd of november.. this isnt good enough.

my question is. how do i make the court do it, what are the charges to me now, as i am pretty strapped for cash as i just paid to take NatWest to court

any help would be great

Hi Ya
Drop aletter to the Information Commissioner from this link Data Protection Act - Non-Compliance - Template Letters Then drop a letter to the woolwich again telling them what you have done, next step County Court to file against them for non compliance.

Spend quite a lot of time reading the FAQs and other threads you will pick up lots of info from these most importanly stick to the time limits they are there for a reason if its 40 or 14 days you set the timescale not the banks.
