Hi, I have been reading through your site because i have A default on my credit file from the woolwich, my account was zero balance, and i moved home in 2002, forgot about my account and 3 Direct Debits tried to draw from my account, thus charges+more Charges for being overdrawn finally being £441 overdrawn and Adverse credit file, i only realised about 2 months ago when i tried to apply for a mortgage got declined and checked my file, I saw your wonderfull site and sent £10 for details of charges, they sent the Postal order back yesterday and a quite complicated and i think incomplete deatils of the charges. What Now? ? ?

You should have received copies of all your statements going back to at least 2000, or at least some sort of detailed list of transactions that are comprehensible and relevant to your account.

If not, then you should remind them that they are obliged by law to provide you with the information you requested within 40 days, from the date of your Data Protection Act S.A.R - (Subject Access Request), and if they fail to comply, then you should report them to the Information Commissioner
