Default Markdean v Woolwich

Well thankyou to everyone who i have watched avidly on here over the last month. My own state of play is as follows :-

Data Protection Letter sent 22nd June 2006.

Woolwich Reply 26th June 2006 (Michelle Wallis Sales and Service Manager) - matter to be resolved by 24th July 2006.

LBA sent 10th July 2006. Woolwich have until 24th July 2006.

Woolwich Reply 12th July 2006 (Andrew Poonian Woolwich Telephony Customer Relations Team ) - due to complex nature complaint escalated to Head Office.

Barclays Letter (Mike Brophy Head of Customer Relations) - apology letter with complaints leaflet and contact no. 0800 282390 / 0207 116 4037.

Completed N1 Claim Form - 24th July 2006.

25th July 2006 (am) - Telephone call to Barclays (Linda Francis 0800 282390). I'm giving them 48hours to pay me in full £3420.59 inc interest or submitting Court Claim Form N1.

25th July 2006 (pm) - Telephone call from Barclays assuring me of an offer by 8th August 2006. QUOTE :- " Delay due to amount of people reclaiming Bank Charges, though if tabloids got hold of this heaven knows what would happen ". I felt very upbeat at this point that they may offer to refund all my charges but ......................... .....................

In same conversation i was able to quanify that in 8th August offer to come, it would be 30 - 55 per cent of my £3420.59 reclaimed charges. This is normal across the board for everyone.

NOT GOOD ENOUGH !!!!!!!!!!!!

WOOLWICH - SEE YOU IN COURT.

All i ask of everyone who looks into this site, is please standby to help as i imagine it may be a bumpy ride !!

Thanks.

Good luck! I am at the next stage - have filed in court and refused their initial offer - waiting for my 28 days to be up.
I think they must be paying up - haven't heard otherwise....

Just back from the Courts where i've set the wheels of Court Action into motion !

N1 Claim Form and £120 handed over.

Just a note for anyone following on behind me - the Clerk to the Court indicated that the Defendant should be a Ltd Company or a PLC. Hence i was told to put down Barclays Bank PLC t/a (trading as ) " The Woolwich " .

GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK !!!!!!!!!!

Claim Number 6PR03437

Date Served 31st July 2006

Defendant has until 14th August 2006 to reply.

Total Claim inc interest and Court Fee = £3540.59.

Did i hear that HSBC made £ 11 Billion profit last year ( rise of 18 per cent !!!!!!!!! ). Seemingly somewhat of a record for a UK bank !!!

The Bank of Dick Turpin alias Barclays Bank Plc alias The Woolwich on my reckoning won't be too far behind either.

No wonder robbing individuals like myself of £3540.59 in six years !!!

Let's see justice and return my money.

Update -

Barclays acknowledgment of service - 10th August 2006.

Barclays offer of £950 as a goodwill gesture - 8th August 2006. ( Claim for £3420.59 ). Ridiculous and demeaning offer !!!

Barclays Defence - 25th August 2006 - the famous Keith Jeremiah !!

I'm going the whole way to the bitter end. Banks are steamrolling over the population of the UK and we need to fight for our rights.

As Wolfie once said "POWER TO THE PEOPLE " LOL !!!
