New and nervous!

Hi all!

First of all, I've been recommended this site after pretty much deciding that the debts due to bank charges I paid off 3 years ago was lost and done with. I'm now very excited that I could get them back!

I've been reading posts & FAQ's for two days now and will continue researching, but I do have a couple of worries if anyone can help me out...

First of all, if anyone can give me more info & answers to my other thread here I'd appreciate it.

I'd be very grateful for any advice on this.

Also, these particular accounts were held with the Woolwich (I no longer bank with them), and I now bank with Barclays, which I never really knew were connected. Would it be wise to open an account with someone else?

Oh yes, forgot to ask...

When I send my S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) letter with the £10 fee, who should I make the cheque payable to?

I wouldn't worry too much about the Woolwich/Barclays connection, even though one is owned by the others, they function fairly independently form one another.
