Exclamation Lynn need Guiding

Hi everyone

Sent my D P A letter of to Barlcays on 16th June, letter back saying as requested schedule of charges is in course of preperation. This will be sent shortly by the Woolwich.

Letter from Woolwich dated 3rd July saying they have taken responsibiliy for fully investigating the issues I have raised and we aim to provide you with an answer by 31st July. I asked for my statements for 6 years, not answers. No reference in this letter to sending my statements to me.

Has anyone else had this ? what do I do sit back and wait for the 31st July or contact them?

Hi it seems to me this is just their way of dealing with it. And delaying us in our fight for our money back.
As soon as you get your statements and ask for your money back it will then be escalted to barclays head office to deal with.
It does not matter you will win in the end. In my case they have 7days until MCOL.

I think you'll find their system of printing a list of charges only goes back to 2001. They have to send copy statements to cover 2000 which would explain why you have that period missing

Good luck

Hi, how long did it take for you to receive the list of charges, and subsequently the cover statements if you've received them yet.

I posted my Subject Access Request on the 18 July and haven't heard anything from Barclays, but have received the statements from Barclaycard

HI

Sent Data Protection Act letter on 16th June to Barclays they forwarded to Woolwich letter from Woolwich dated 3rd July said they will get back to me by 31st July.

Today received statements from Woolwich 25th July full 6 yrs.

I have been waiting from 3rd July gave them the benifit from that date,
not 16th June which I should used as the correct date as that is the day I sent the letter.

So now I ready to go looks like the 7 month missed charges not received yesterday total another £300

Keep in touch with what happening to you

Good Luck
