Just a quick reminder that you don't have to use the 0845 and 0870 numbers provided by the bank if using them would mean you are charged a premium amount - this is particularly the case where you are phoning from a mobile.

IMPORTANT EDIT NOTE : If you are trying to get account statements/details for a CLOSED Woolwich account, the new Baclays telephony Customer Service tactic is often to state catergorically that they do not hold any information on the account and that you will have to go to a local Barclays branch to request statements - this is absolutely false, I can assure you and sadly is yet
another example of blatant abuse of the Data Protection Act by Barclays.
