My mum has asked me to help her claim back her charges from her woolwich account, this has now been merged into barclays where do i send the letter to get her past 5 years of bank statements woolwich or barclays ??? Also would we have to use her old woolwich account numbers or her new barclays ones. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi moo-moo

Welcome to CAG where there are no problems, only solutions!

You need to send the Subject Access Request to:

Barclays Data Protection

Barclays Bank Plc
Radbroke Hall
Knutshall
Cheshire WA16 9EU

Read through the Example Step-By-Step Instructions - Now updated to reflect the OFT court judgment and some of the other Barclay/Woolwich threads to get a good feel of what will happen.

It's not tricky for most and if you follow the templates to the letter, you can't go far wrong. Any questions, post them however there is no substitute for having a good read of the site.
