Can i charge the DSS Interest

Can you charge interest on an overpayment of a overpayment daily interest + compound interest??????

DSS taking £31.66 per week from my brother for an overpayment of £506.56 schedule of payment to last 16 weeks. Once the overpayment as finished they should of discontinued taking the £31.66 per week from his benefits but still take the money 13 weeks later I find out about this so I would like to know can I use the spreadsheets to calculate this and charge the DSS interest at 8%APR and compound interest at 00022% daily interest if my figures are correct???????????

if my figures are wrong on the rate of apr + daily interest (compound) then please`correct them

I wouldnt have thought you could charge not them interest unless you have to file at court to reclaim your money. As the DSS dont lend cash out there basis for claiming contractual interest .
