Barclays - Defence entered.

Hi everyone.

Im a newcomer to this board.

I have just had a defence entered against my claim of just over £7000 (inc. interest) to Barclays. This falls outside the small claims track.

Does anyone have any experience or advice of this? It was my understanding that no bank had yet defended a claim and Im wondering if Im going to be the first.

Hi,

I'm new here too.

Don't panic Barclays are known for dragging their feet when having to pay up with these bank charges.

I also have been issued with a defence from Barclays and I am in the process of filling in the Allocation Questionaire that will follow from the court.

You will shortly recieve an AQ to complete. Although the limit is 5k it is up to the judge to decide which track to send it down..
