Am I going to get shafted!?!

Hi there,

I completed my online claim against Nationwide last week and have received an acknowledgement of claim this week. According to their in house solicitor they are going to defend all of the claim. However, on the penalty charges forum they have just posted a thread telling members not to claim online because you cannot get as much information as you can on the N1 form. Only a maximum of twenty four lines and 1080 characters. This didn't help me much as I've already filed my claim! Have I just wasted £120.00 or am I still in with a chance. Or alternatively, can I file an N1 handwritten claim for the same charges?

Hello ok firstly can you start a thread for this claim and then post a copy of your POC. Asl long as you followed the POC from the library here you should be ok. Send me a pm when you have posted your POC

entering a defence is standard procedure, nothing to worry about there.

in repect to submitting your claim, either online at www.moneyclaim.gov.uk or at court with your N1 forms is fine.

you are limited to a certain number of characters regarding your particulars of claim online, but thats the only difference.

where did you get you particulars of claim from? was it from the banking templates library?
