hello, im new to this and i was told this is a site that can help me i hope it can

basically...

im a student and went over my overdraft limit by £1.68, for this my bank is charging me £20 for going over my limit and £30 for paying the amount a total of £50!!!

I had one charge earlier in the year reversed it was for £9.45 and i was being charger again £50.

However this time for £1.68 the bank is refusing to let the charges go, in fact they are taking the money out of the account when the money will not be there and they are going to charge me again next month and reclai the monies from this month, £50 they are taking this month and then £20 for going over and a further £30 for paying the charge so a total of £100. That means for just £1.68 over two months the bank is going to take £150 off me!!!

I dont know what to do, im a depressed and stressed over this situation!
any advice from people?

Hi Jeff, welcome to the family.

Suggest tht you spend a couple of days reading the FAQs and the step by step guide in the library section. That will answer most of your questions.

Start your own thread in the appropriate bank's forum and post yiour questions and progress reports there. You will find plenty of advice there that will benefit your claim.
