Default Stated but dont know what to do now!!

Hi I am new here so please forgive me if I am posting in the wrong place.
I have recieved my statements from HSBC nd have sent the second letter out.
I didnt use the letters provided on here but have used very similar ones on AOL.

What do I do now? Will they pay out or will I have to fight.
The total charges is over £900.

I also followed the same procedure with NatWest but I had to pay £5 to get the statements. They didnt send out statements for 2001-2003 so I have written to them again and requested the statements for these dates.
The charges by NatWest so far are £1010.

Any advice on where to look on this site or on what I do now is greatly needed.
Thankyou so much.

Hi - take a bit of time to read up first to make sure that you have the facts before going too far ahead. Read the FAQs and template letters then have a good read around here to see how others are getting on. Keep any progress on your own claim or questions that arise in a new thread in the forum for your bank to make it easier for others to follow and advise you. There's a set of links in my sig below that will help you find where all this useful information is. Well done for getting started!

once they have received the 10.00 they have 40 days to send you the statements.
