JUST FOUND THIS FAB SITE AND AFTER BEING FED UP OF THE CONSTANT EXCESSIVE CHARGES FROM LLOYDS TSB FOR OVER 16 YEARS (I'VE NEVER BEEN IN THE SITUATION WHERE I FELT I COULD CLOSE THE ACCOUNT DUE TO OVERDRAFTS ETC) I AM FULLY CHARGED (EXCUSE THE PUN!) TO RECLAIM MY CHARGES.
HOWEVER, ONE QUESTION
MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE 2 JOINT ACCOUNTS WITH LLOYDS AND AN INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNT EACH. SHOULD WE JUST CLAIM FOR 1 ACCOUNT AT A TIME OR COULD WE CLAIM FOR THE 2 JOINT ACCOUNTS ON ONE LETTER?
ANY HELP OR ADVICE WOULD BE ENCOURAGING.

Hi - take a bit of time to read up first to make sure that you have the facts before going too far ahead. Read the FAQs and template letters then have a good read around here to see how others are getting on. Keep any progress on your own claim or questions that arise in a new thread in the forum for your bank to make it easier for others to follow and advise you. There's a set of links in my sig below that will help you find where all this useful information is. Well done for getting started!

You can split these whichever way is convenient - do all the accounts where the is one common name (i.e. your own and the joint accounts) in one claim, then hubby's in a second claim. The split is really down to you. You will have to split them for the Data Protection Act letter as it is based around an individual rather than an address or an account. P.S. please try and use proper lower and upper case to make it easier to read for us oldies!

Thanks and apologies for using upper case. I didn't realise that caps lock was on and it was too late when I did!!
Have read the FAQs and quite a few of the threads. Have been particularly inspired by Reload. I think it seems as though I have picked one of the worst banks though!
