Start by reading, then read some more and then still more. It will take a few days of constant browsing, looking and reading to become familiar with the steps you need to take, but do not be put off, it can be done quite easily if you follow the established route.
Send the Data Protection Act S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) letter found in the templates library here

You can claim from Lloyds TSB if you were charged, there is a six year time limit on claims, although I and others intend to claim beyond this limit. Credit cards you can also claim for.
Your account may be closed, this is why it may be necessary to open another account elsewhere, referred to here as a parachute account, search for "parachute account" for more details.
