Hi all,
What a gift this site is! Thanks to Trevor McDonald and this fab website, we now have the breakdown of charges for our two accounts for the past six years, and it amounts to over £5000. No wonder we are struggling!! Can any kind person give me some advice on how to work out the 8% APR. I'm really struggling. I put the total amount into the calculator and it came back with an astronomical figure. If anyone can give me some tips, they will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all for giving me hope for the future (the world is a bleak place with a 5 grand overdraft - thanks to the bank!)

Use the spreadsheet in the library.

It gives you two amounts automatically.

one for interest on the charges you can use in your initail approach to the bank and one which adds the 8% if it gets to a small claim.

dont forget you cant add the 8% until you go to small claims.

Theres lots on the forum regarding this its all worth a read.

Thanks for that. I managed to access the spreadsheets but I must be having a senior (or blonde) moment, because I just cant figure out how to use them! Can you give me any more tips? I'll keep trying, Its all worth it.
