Question We will fight them on the beaches.

Just a quick post to say hi.
I'm in the process of reading various posts at the moment, I have already found some good advice, cheers.
I have two accounts, HSBC & Lloyds Tsb.
Unfortuanetly both are overdrawn.
Amazingly LTSB have paid my DD's etc, and have charged me around £30.00.
HSBC on the other hand have withdrawn payements, morgtage etc, and have up till now charged me around £120.00 for the privelage.
Isn't their a common rate for banks, or do they charge according to the Managers needs, holiday in Florida etc.

Amazingly, there is a fairly close correlation of charges between banks - I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions from that...!

Hi Fozzie and welcome!

Take your time and have a good read of the FAQs and the templates letters, followed by a browse through many of the threads in the forum for your bank (see links in my sig, below). When you are ready to start, post in your bank's forum and report your progress in that thread as well as asking your questions (there won't be too many if you've read the FAQs properly) and you will get the best out of this site and all the accumulated experience here!
