| | Site Team | Re: Old Debts Do Not Just Fade Away And Die!!! Hi and welcome to CAG
Can you tell us what the debts are for ?
When they were taken out ?
When you last acknowledged/made payment to each debt ?
The answers to these questions will help find the right way of dealing with these debts

| | Platinum Account Customer | Re: Old Debts Do Not Just Fade Away And Die!!! birdie- welcome to the world of the internet.
Unsecured debts do in fact most definately fade away and die, six years after you last make a payment for them, so long as the creditor has not started made a claim in court.
When you make a payment before six years elapses, the limitation clock is set back to the start.
After six years, the debt is dead.
As dead as a dead parrot which has ceased to be, even though it may be nailed to it's perch and appears to move when someone shakes the cage.
If you didnt make any payment to those debts for six years, forget about them, dont make any more payments (unless you really want to) and get on with the rest of you life.
