Hi guys,

I heard about this from a friend of a friend thought i'd have a look , kind of half heartedly only because it sounded to good to be true, but if half of what ive read is true then let the good times roll.

I've had charge after charge through both the Halifax and Barclays banks over the last few years, now hopefully I can start to try and get them back. I know the first thing is to read an read through the site as much as possible but is there any other pointers, ie someone told me it can take 40 days to get your charge list from your bank, should I apply for this first and read while i'm waiting? does it affect me if I do? What are the limits you can claim for, is there a minimum?

I'm getting ahead of myself I know but any advice or help would be welcome !

Hi Michael!

To be honest I would do that reading first. You're not going to delay yourself by more than a few days, and the process takes a while to yield results.

Don't rely on this money until you have it in your grubby little mitts! For illustration, I started my process against First Direct in early May and got paid at the end of June... and that was a straightforward one.
