Unhappy Bank Charges from LloydsTSB

I have recently asked LloydsTSB to refund my charges as a good will jesture. They refused on the ground that I agreed to the charges when taking out the account and that I have not "done any-thing to put my finances in order" this is very difficult to do when they are charging me £197 per month and I have asked them to let me have an authorised over draft of £200 for 4-6 months so I can get back on my feet and they would not agree to do this as they say "I can not afford this" but they say nothing about charging me £197 for bouncing DD's and going overdrawn. None of this makes sence to me. I wondered if any-one has actually got any money back for LloydsTSB as I see other banks are repaying bank charges but have not seen anything from LloydsTSB. I have paid £4000 in charges over the space of 6 six years. I have sent them another letter but if this is not successful I fear I couldn't take them to court coz if I lose I could not afford the court costs... worried please help!!

That's only a decision you can make at the end of the day. Hopefully this page will set your mind at rest though... over £100000 returned by LTSB.

This money is yours for the taking but before you start you need to be really sure about what your doing by reading the FAQ's below.

If you do decide to go for it, can you post your progress on the TSB forum an ask any questions there. Cheers

Welcome.
You are in the right place.

There are lots of settlements from Lloyds so don't worry. Have a look at the survey results and also at the litigation concluded section. But bear in mind also that lots of people get their bank charges back and don't let us know.
Go and read the Lloyds forum. Also, the FAQ and as much of the other forum material as yo can in about 5 days solid.
You will feel empowered an confident - or your money back!!
