general advice

Hi folks, have read through things on here and want to start claiming back from the Abbey. I had a hiccuop earlier this year and in 3 months paid over £1000 in charges. On several occasions I went to and rang the Abbey for help but got nowhere (or some obscure call centre abroad). As with many people on here this has had a major long term effect which is proving a real pain to get sorted out ... I am single so don't have aloving other half to help

Anyway enough of this... having read through things I need to get hold of statements going back as far as I want to claim?

I've seen that I can claim back 6 yrs but would it affect things if I decided to just try and get the recent charges back ?

Hi and welcome to the site Abbeyman, Firstly can you start a thread in the Abbey bank section, that way you can keep track of your posts easier and people within that bank forum will be able to help you.

Secondly you will need to send off a 'Subject Access Request' and the 10 pound fee. You can claim back just the most recent charges but if they owe you more why not do it all in one claim?
