Default Help with getting old statements from catalogue

Hi,
im new today so hope im doing this right! Can anyone help, in july 2006 choice catalogue changed over everyones account to a new update one, we received new account numbers which changed over on the 2nd july 2006. my june statement i thought i'd paid apart from £44, when i received julys new statement it was a closing balance of £465.09 which included arrears of £237.36, when i rung them they told me it was didnt pay the min payment and was carried over i have my bank statements with payments on but they said they cant get my old statements. So i paid £465.09 on the 16th july to close the balance until oct 2006 when bye now pay later went on. My 2nd statement then said payment £219.12 this went on account 30 july to close balance!!!!!! They said this was from my old account?? I asked for details about this and refused to pay until, they took £25.00 cashback payment on 25th aug, aug statement was then charged £12.00 and balance £287.04 to close. septs then came £12.00 charge and balance £387.04 to close. Im at my wits end can anyone tell me how to get my old statements without having to contact choice????

Hi and welcome
I would send them a S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) with both account numbers on it you can adapt the one here http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...lates-library/
you will need to send a cheque/postal order for £10 and sent it recorded/registered delivery ... they will then have 40 days to porvide them

Hope that helps

Hi and welcome to the forum.

the best way is to send a S.A.R - (Subject Access Request), which will provide details of the running of your account for the last 6 years.
