yorkshire bank-benefits been taken to pay charges

hi everyone need some help a.s.a.p

I have so far with the help of this site been able to get my claim
to the point of getting a court date.I have however seen references
that if you are receiving benefits these are some how protected and
should not used to pay bank charges, my account is soley used for
this purpose.Can someone please enlighten me how this works.Is it
now to late to do anything bearing in mind how far my claim as gone
would be very grateful for any help.
