Default Car Re-Finance

Hi

Does anyone know of any reputable companies who offer re-finance loans on your current HP in order to gain a lower APR?

I have looked around on the internet but most of what i seem to find doesnt look up to much or have never heard of them.

At the moment i am paying 38% Apr with Blackhorse and its just too much. I am looking to re-finance the car with a lower APR using the car as security as it would be in my current HP agreement.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks

I can't help with a company, but have you a credit card you can pay the outstanding with, they have a lower apr than that.

Make sure you only go with an actual lending company and not one of these 'we guarantee to get you a loan at 4.6% broker type of companies. They want money up front and will only introduce you to a company that does have that rate, but you wont get that and will have paid someone for doing what you could have done yourself as they don't actually arrange the loan.

If you have a good credit score then try your bank, even if your finances are a bit messy, still try your bank, you will have lost nothing if they say no.

Default Re: Car Re-Finance

Thanks for the advice

Wish i had a credit card with that limit

I am just waiting for the Credit Reference Agencies to update my Electoral role information then maybe it will strengthen my situation as my accounts are in good order.

The finance was taken out when i was in the Armed Forces and i was seen as a high risk hence the high APR. At present though 38% APR does not reflect my current situation and is for to high to be paying back for the next 3 & half years.

Thanks
