Default faulty MAZDA of all things!!!!

hello all, had this problem with my mazda for a while now bought a mazda 3 sport from a dealer 6 mths ago. the car was six onths old, ex demo. car was fine for a few weeks but then i noticed starting problems. especially from cold. not all the time. sometimes more often than not. sometimes not at all. also the car can feel 'lumpy' during tickover at times. it was suggested to me that the car could have a fualty fuel pump. so took it to the dealer and explained the situ. they kept it for 3 hours and ran a test on there ((not so) magic computer. came out fine. "shouldnt be a problem sir"

took home. few weeks on still the same! think to myself, "how does their computer test a mechanicl fuel pump?" so book in again explaining. no faul found.

i even gave them a printed bulletin from mazda stating that some north american models had fuel pump issues, i realise this isn't the same, but it could be related. could it be an import?...my mpg counter reads in litres????

this has happened once again since and the car is still the same!!!

what can i do! i love this car! it cost me £12000 but is doing my head in, and the garage justseem to want to link it up to their magic comp!!!!

this is a genuine mazda dealer in stourbridge by the way!

any ideas?

It's worth checking out some of the Mazda forums to see if anyone else has experienced the problem. I found these ones via Google. I have no idea what they are like but it's always worth a look.

Hopefully that should be enough to get you started
