scottish power v kia

hiya we have a card meter for our gas with scottish power and our payments into that meter every month our approx.£120 which i think is is robbery.We are paying off a debt which seems to be going up not down as the last time i phoned them the debt had gone up by £30 so we seriously need help as this is bankrupting us and we cant carry on like this i wondered if any one ad any advice as i dont know what to do know any help would be gratefully recieved as we never wanted the wretched meters in the first place but felt we where forced into it xxkia

Is it a powercard meter or a token meter ? you can check the settings to find out what it is collecting.

sorry for delay its a powercard meter and its supposed to collect £5 per week but whenever i check it it always says my debt is still the same as when i started remind me how you check how much the debt is and ill check it again cos i dont think its coming down
