Default EON and persistant sales calls

Just a note incase anyone else having this. Answer the phone now as know dca's dont have my new number and low and behold I keep getting calls from EON trying to sell me service care, boiler etc. I told them I dont want it and to remove my number from sales calls and they told me they would. Today phone rang again and caller slammed phone down on me, so I did 1471 and eon answered and interogated me as to how I got their number (I suppose it was not normal number) and I told them to leave me alone or I will change suppliers. They said they would make a note and low and behold phone rings again

They normally accept the answer I live in council property and they maintain the boiler and I can only suppose they are on some sort of mass sales adventure.

So just incase EON are watching 'IF YOU WANT TO SELL SERVICE CARE, CONTACT THE BLEEP COUNCIL'

Sales tactics that will lose customers if they are doing it to others.

Rant over

You could register with the TPS, not sure if it will help with Eon as they might have consent to phone you, some contracts have an opt out box so you can reject marketing calls, here is the link TPS Registration
