i had a prepayment electricity meter fitted in 2004 because i had a debt i could not pay , the debt was collected over about 18 months and was cleared.I then over the next few months found a debt accruing on the account and was told by them not to worry it only due to the bills being an estimate and not read.By 2006 when the debt got to £500 i again contacted them and they told me it was due to the meter not being updated and that they were shortly changing the meters in my area.As at now the meter still has not been changed and they have never in four years made any arrangement or attempt to do so .The debt is now over £1000 and i still wait , i am worried about being able to pay this back as i live on benefit, i have not recieved a statement now by post or online since Nov 2007 , is there anyone who could take this up for me would energy watch be any use thankyou
