 N-power!
when moving into my property 6 years ago the prev tenant had £347 debt with n-power. the property is a council house and is all electricity, so befor i could get the electricity put back on i had to pay the prev custs debt, after 3 days of trying to explain to n-power id just moved in and the council confirming it i had to take a loan from a family member to pay it so i could move in with the kids, so it gets paid and theyput us on a prepayment meter
, it took me 7 months and many phone calls to get a full refund from n-power!.
last jan, i had cleared most my debts, so i got a monthly meter fitted and set up DD for the payments, this took n-power 9 months to even get me an account number, so no payments were ever made, and being the stupid person i am i used the money to pay off the rest of my debts, october comes and a bill for £898 pounds lands on my door step!!!!!! so i call them and its agreeed payments of £100 per month £80 for elec and £20 for debt, i payed these payments untill jan the n-power decided they wanted an extra £50. i couldnt afford and they started court action against me!, the only thing i could do was have a pre payment meter fitted, so on 25th of jan i had a meter fitted, it takes £35 a week min therefore £140 a month!.....
the prepayment meter has neve worked correctly and i have now had 3 meters and 4 diffrent keys looking at my phone bill i have been on the phone to n-power for 4hrs over the last month, n-power refusing to do anything about all off this and finaly replaced my meter again still prepayment! but its still not working!!!i get errors and random screen flickers i also have over £50 on keys that cant be credited on to my meter coz of there ba**s up!
any advise appreciated!
p.s i asked n-power about changing supplier and just keeping up the debt payments with them, they said id have to clear the debt??? |
