British Gas your a waste of space...

Waited 3 weeks for this visit, engineer calling to check my back boiler.

3 o'clock no engineer, check mobile 1 missed call @ 1.30, No knock on the door, no card in the letter box.

I Rang Customer Services, and was advised note on computer ( card left in letter box)

No appointment available now for 7 to 14 days.

Go stuff your self British Gas your service is disgusting.

Luckily no money removed from bank account yet, Direct Debit will be canceled.

So Mr gas man I hope you had a nice early finish at my expense But do you honestly think i wouldn't be making a in depth complaint.

Moral to the story is.....

When making an appointment with British Gas NEVER!! supply a phone number.

Is this a new contract? I'm thinking this must be a first visit?

Did you recieve a card in your letter box or is this just what has been said?

If no card left my advice to you would be to call customer services back and dispute this on the grounds of a broken appointment. Ask for an appointment slot to be brought forward with a narrower appointment window for the inconvenience caused.

yeap one off check up, purchased 3 weeks ago, with one off £77 direct debit.

All complaint procedures have been done.

Planning was contacted by a man called Andy, manager of customer Suppport.

no appointment untill earliest monday and possibly later, I told them to stick it, im not giving them £77 to have to wait longer.

letter already in postmans van

family member had good gas man do work a few months ago, will now go with him.

The bitter taste of BG will take along time to pass.

If they are that concerned,as i feel any company should be will call me tomorrow with a booking, but im not holding my breath

it was just so obviouse the guy didnt want to do his days quota
