Default Virgin Media(Telewest)

So far,
S.A.R sent to 160 Great portland St London on March 12th,then reminder sent to same address April 10th. I called them to ask where my data was and was referred to Matrix Court in Swansea. Today I had a letter stating the reason for non-compliance was non-receipt of £10 fee.

Have just called them to say I would be mailing copy of printed Post office receipt for £10 Postal order and issuing Letter before action for non-compliance. Spoke then to a line manager who said they would escalate my request and get my information out within the next 7 days.

Will post on any progress

Update
Have made written complaint to information commissioner.
Still nothing from VM, have made a further call to customer concern at Wythenshawe who has said he made a request to the Swansea team for the data. I explained thats where they have had LBA,Letter for non-compliance etc but still nothing forthcoming. He asked me to send copies of everything AGAIN to him personally at Wythenshawe.
This started with my S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) on March 12th. How much time do these people need, getting silly now.Anyone I've spoken to doesn't seem to know whats going on.

I wouldn't trust that, unsuprisingly I have had problems with VM (see: http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...-terrible.html ) and was at a stage where it was almost dealt with, all I had to do was send particular details to a particular person which I did. However as she was on holiday at the time the letter was intercepted despite the fact that it was personally addressed to her. If I was you I would leave it a few days for the letter to get to whoever you spoke to and then call him directly ensure he got it and it has not been intercepted.

Hope this makes sense

Thanks bluejay for your response. It's so annoying the way these people don't seem to know what the hell goes on from within their own departments. I did speak with this same person last week in customer concern (Matthew Nadin) who said he emailed the appropriate dept for the data, I called him back yesterday on 0845-650-3131 ex 6197
and he asked for me to forward everything direct to him and he would be able to get it sent out.
Apparently, the stuff I sent to Swansea does not show on his screen/system at Wythenshawe. Can you believe it??
I'm allowing 7 days only then I'm heading to the courts. Have had nothing back from the Information Commissioner yet.
