| | Platinum Account Customer | Re: Global Roaming/Barclays? As Buzby says if they are taking it out of the card the simple way to stop it is to request a new card number (or if the bank is funny about that, hang up, call back and this time report it stolen- same result)
You need to find out why they have billed the card and get a complete breakdown of what has been charged to the card and why. If they have taken something they shouldn't have then the bank should be able to obtain a chargeback. Your protected slightly more on a credit card than a debit card.
My priority would be to get the card number changed (as I said cut it up and report it stolen if you must to get a new card) to stop any further withdrawl of funds and then work out what has happened and act accordingly

17/10/2006 Recieve claim against me from lloyds TSB for £312.82
18/10/06 S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) sent
03/02/07 Claim allocated to small claims. Hearing set for 15/05/07. Lloyds ordered to file statement setting out how they calculate their charges
15/05/07 Lloyds do not attend. Judgement ordered for £192 approx, £3 travel costs and removal of default notice
29/05/07 4pm Lloyds deadline for payment of CCJ expires. Warrant of execution ready to go
19/06/07 Letter from court stating Lloyds have made a cheque payment to court |
