Default Reclaiming Telewest Charges

Hi all,

I have seen other threads about telewest charges being recaimed and was wondering how to go about doing it? Where do I start? I have a long standing issue with them where I wasn't paying by dd because they wouldn't let me have my dd on a date I chose so was paying monthly by debt card and was having to pay the £10 late payment charge and the £4 non dd charge. How do I go about starting to reclaim the charges they have put on in the last 4 years?

Dear Sir/Madam

Please supply me with a complete list of transactions and charges relating to my Telewest account since ......................... .. to date. Alternatively, a complete set of account statements which list charges and payments to/from my account for that period will be acceptable.

Additionally, where there has been any event in my account history over this period which has required manual intervention by any member of your staff, or any other person, I require disclosure of any indication or notes which have either caused or resulted in that manual intervention, or other evidence of that manual intervention in relation to my business with you.

That address isn't appropriate for TW non BB - (more properly ntl:Telewest (until 14/2/07). I understand complaints of a written nature should now go to Manchester, call CS from your cable line and ask for the correct address. Yes, you can ask them for these charges back, and I settled for service credits to resolve the matter. Each quarter I get 3 months of non-DDM charges refunded to my account, but I have to remind them.

Hi buzby, thats the address found here.
(Need a Data Controller Addresses? Look Here!!!)

Note: Telewest Broadband covers tv, phone and internet.

Further more if you are sending a complaint it goes via CS, however if sending a S.A.R it goes directly to the Data Controller not via CS!

It ceased to be a legal entity a few months ago, and was subsumed into NTL (as ntl:Telewest) so you need the NTL data controller for the merged company.
