Angry Orange Care Insurance

Hi all,

Just having a drama with Orange Care Insurance, wondered if any of you had experienced similar.

I managed to buy a particularly bad Nokia phone from Orange, under contract and yesterday I received replacement number 3 after numerous software problems with the phone. I've now gone to set up my replacement phone (which I add is RECONDITIONED, not a new replacement as one would expect) and it now has another, but different fault. I've had the replacement for less than 24hrs and its still no use to me.

Orange are now claiming they won't send any further phones out to me until they've emailed their techincal department for advice, even though the replacement they sent yesterday was faulty from the moment I switched the bloomin thing on!

The really annoying thing is... I'm being charged £15 each time for the privilege of them replacing my faulty phones, even though its not my fault at all. At this rate, I could soon be saving up for a new phone without their useless insurance!

So the upshot of it this evening is that I now have a phone I can hardly use until someone in some magical department of Orange can be bothered to open an email, which I doubt will be anytime soon.

HOPELESS!!!

Anyone with any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!
