Default Orange - Situation Resolved, Almost Immediately

Hi Guys,

Didnt know where to post this - I took a contract out with Orange through Dial-A-Phone, long story - basically they cocked up by not giving me unlimited texts!!!

So i contacted Orange CS - however was unsuccessful in getting it resolved even although i had written evidence that i should get unlimited texts...

To cut a long story short - i got a hold of the CEO's email address and emailed him, copying in a guy from OFCOM.

Low and behold - i got a call from the Orange Executive Team, VERY VERY helpful lady chatted with me to gain a bit of backgroound to the situation, literally 5 minutes later she told me that it has all been sorted and she is so sorry for the error!!!

Congratulations to the Executive Team - VERY VERY helpful.

As i always say - straight to the top always works

Nathe

It depends on the type of contract you have (business/individual/corporate) and what the problem is. What's the problem?

I've no complaint with Orange. I was seeking the nature of the OP's complaint to point them in the right direction. As for emailing the CEO, this isn't an effective route - if you feel strongly write in the first instance to the Executive Office, C/o Orange's UK HQ in Patchway, Bristol.

Hey, been offline for a while!

I agree with what Buzby said - i had been trying to resolve my complaint for around 3 months with no joy so got a hold of the CEO's email address and sent a complaint to them detailing legal action would be taken if necessary.

I would only ever use the CEO once all other avenues have proved unsucessful.

Hope this helps

Without the CEO's email address, nobody else has that choice... perhaps you could enlighten the forum as to what you have discovered?

I wouldn't bother, like Charles Dunstone of CW - this isn't Ahuja's reall email address.

1) CEOs invariably have 'real' accounts accessible only via their intranet, and this protects them from speculative attempts from suppliers and customers alike.
2) Any legitimate Internet (as opposed to intranet) address had to be unique enough to prevent swamping with emails, therefore it is a common business practice to have 'figurehead' emaill addresses that may be subject to direct appeals are dealt with by a seperate department, as is the case with Dunstone, but more importantly;
4) Because I have his business card!

3) Was removed 'cos it wasn't funny enough.

As for my response being rude....? You need to get out more, the response was completely factual. What did you take offence to?
